Google API Fees

One Placement is a Beverage in a Location. So if you have three beers that are at XYZ Bar ... that counts as 3 Placements on your subscription. Subscription rates DO NOT include Google API fees, which include most of what any small to mid-size brewery needs for FREE. Any overages will be charged to your Google Account.

Google Fees (updated August, 2025)

Taps + Tables / Beverage Finder is not responsible for overage fees from Google. In MOST cases, your mapping will be free:

  • Mapping: up to 10k requests FREE ($5.60 per 1k requests after)
  • Geocoding: up to 10k requests FREE ($4 per 1k requests after)
  • Geolocation: up to 10k requests FREE ($5 per 1k requests after)

Maps will make one request per page load. Geocoding will be used once per location in your account (not per placement as location mapping data will be reused by the system). Geolocation will be used once per user location (if they allow it).
